Terms of Service

Last updated: May 4, 2026

Part I: Foundations

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MyJobsSearch (myjobssearch.com), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MyJobsSearch.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using MyJobsSearch, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

If you are accessing or using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and references to "you" shall include both you individually and the organization.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue all use of the Service.

2. Our Services

MyJobsSearch is an AI-powered job search and resume optimization platform designed to help individuals improve their job application materials and streamline their job search process. Our Service includes, but is not limited to, the following features:

  • Self-scoring resume analysis engine
  • AI-powered resume optimization and rewriting
  • Cover letter generation
  • Job discovery and matching
  • Achievement library management
  • Application tracking and pipeline management

MyJobsSearch is NOT an employment agency, staffing firm, recruiter, or career placement service. We provide tools to assist you in your job search but do not act as an intermediary between you and potential employers.

We do not guarantee any employment outcomes, including but not limited to interviews, job offers, or salary levels. The effectiveness of the Service depends on many factors outside our control, including the job market, your qualifications, and employer hiring practices.

The Service is a general-purpose career tool and is not designed, configured, or audited for use in industries or roles that are subject to specialized data-protection or compliance regimes, including without limitation the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), or any analogous federal, state, or international framework. If your activities or any content you submit to the Service would be governed by any such law or framework, you must not use the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all laws and regulations applicable to you, your profession, or your employer.

3. User Representations

By using MyJobsSearch, you represent and warrant each of the following:

  • You are accessing the Service as a human, not via a bot, script, headless browser, scraping framework, or other automated agent.
  • You are not registering after a previous suspension, termination, or ban from MyJobsSearch under any other name or identity.
  • The information you submit during registration and account use is correct as of the time you submit it, and you will keep it current.
  • You are eighteen years of age or older.
  • You have the legal capacity to be bound by these Terms (and, if you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, the authority to bind that organization).
  • Your access to and use of the Service does not violate any federal, state, local, or international law applicable to you.

Part II: Your Account

4. User Registration

To access most features of MyJobsSearch, you must create an account through our authentication provider. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account information updated.

You are limited to one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits, abuse free tiers, or for any other purpose is strictly prohibited and may result in termination of all associated accounts.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@myjobssearch.com if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

MyJobsSearch will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account credentials.

5. Responsible Use

This section addresses the good-faith conduct expected of every account holder. Technical abuse is addressed in Section 11; commercial use is addressed in Section 12.

Account integrity

  • You will not impersonate another person, organization, or MyJobsSearch employee, including by using another individual's name, photograph, or work history without permission.
  • You will not share your account credentials with anyone else, allow more than one individual to use a single account, or maintain a session that other people use on your behalf.
  • You will not register additional accounts to evade plan limits, free-tier caps, prior bans, or other restrictions imposed by us.
  • You will not sell, rent, license, sublicense, or otherwise transfer your account, your access to the Service, or any benefit of your subscription to any third party.

Truthful application materials

You are solely responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, and completeness of all content associated with your account, whether written by you or generated with AI assistance. In particular, you will not submit resumes, cover letters, or other application materials that contain fabricated qualifications, false employment history, misleading credentials, exaggerated accomplishments, or any statement you do not in good faith believe to be accurate.

Misrepresentation on job application materials may violate state or federal law (including consumer protection, fraud, and computer-fraud statutes) and may give an employer grounds to rescind an offer or terminate employment. Use of MyJobsSearch does not insulate you from those consequences.

We may suspend or terminate any account we reasonably believe has engaged in conduct prohibited by this Section 5, in addition to any other remedy available under these Terms.

Part III: Billing & Plans

6. Subscription Plans

MyJobsSearch offers the following subscription tiers:

  • Free Tier: $0/month with limited feature access.
  • Pro: $24/month with expanded features and usage limits.
  • Premium: $39/month with full access to all features and highest usage limits.

Feature availability, usage limits, and capabilities vary by plan. Specific details of what is included in each plan are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features from any subscription plan with reasonable notice. Material changes to your current plan will be communicated via email or in-app notification prior to taking effect.

7. Free Tier

MyJobsSearch offers a free tier that provides limited access to the platform's features. The free tier is always available and does not require a credit card to sign up.

The free tier is subject to usage limits and restricted feature access as described on our pricing page. These limits are designed to allow you to evaluate the Service before committing to a paid plan.

We reserve the right to modify, reduce, or discontinue the free tier at any time with reasonable notice. If the free tier is discontinued, existing free-tier users will be notified and given the opportunity to upgrade to a paid plan or export their data.

8. Purchases and Payment

All payments for MyJobsSearch subscription plans are processed securely through Stripe. We accept the following payment methods:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for all fees incurred under your account.

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select) and will continue to renew automatically until cancelled by you. You are responsible for all charges incurred until cancellation takes effect.

We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will take effect with at least 30 days' prior notice. Your continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

If you believe there is a billing error, you must contact us at support@myjobssearch.com within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate and correct any confirmed errors.

9. Cancellation

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation is entirely self-service and does not require contacting support.

When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to your paid plan features until that date. No partial refunds will be issued for the remaining time in a billing period.

After your subscription ends, your account will be downgraded to the free tier. Your data, including resumes, achievements, and application history, will be retained for 30 days following cancellation. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

You may reactivate your account and restore your data at any time within the 30-day retention window by resubscribing to a paid plan.

10. Refund Policy

MyJobsSearch does not provide refunds for partial billing periods. When you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to your paid features until the end of your current billing cycle, but no prorated refund will be issued.

If a billing error occurs (such as a duplicate charge or incorrect amount), we will investigate and correct the error within 30 days of it being reported. To report a billing error, contact us at support@myjobssearch.com with the relevant transaction details.

Refunds for confirmed billing errors will be processed through your original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.

Part IV: Acceptable Use

11. Prohibited Technical Use

This section addresses technical abuse of the Service. The conduct below is prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms. Conduct relating to good-faith account use is addressed in Section 5 (Responsible Use), and conduct relating to commercial use of the Service is addressed in Section 12 (Commercial Misuse).

Automation and scraping

  • Operating bots, scripts, headless browsers, scrapers, or other automated agents against the Service.
  • Harvesting, mirroring, indexing, or aggregating data from the Service through automated or manual means.
  • Imposing an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure (denial-of-service attempts, runaway request loops, intentionally heavy queries, etc.).

Security and reverse engineering

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive source code, scoring logic, or model prompts used by the Service.
  • Probing, circumventing, or attempting to disable security controls, paywalls, rate limits, or usage quotas.
  • Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, ransomware, or any code intended to disrupt the Service or harm any user.

Targeting other users

  • Collecting, harvesting, or attempting to identify personal information about other MyJobsSearch users.
  • Harassing, abusing, threatening, or targeting other users through any feature of the Service.

You also agree not to use the Service in any way that violates federal, state, local, or international law applicable to you. We reserve the right to terminate accounts engaged in any of the conduct described above and to pursue any other remedies available under these Terms or at law.

12. Commercial Misuse

MyJobsSearch is licensed to you for one purpose only: your own personal job search. The Service is not licensed for any business that prepares, optimizes, or evaluates application materials on behalf of other people, and it is not licensed for use as raw material in any competing product. The following uses are prohibited regardless of subscription tier.

No use on behalf of third parties

  • Operating a resume-writing service, ghost-writing practice, or career-coaching business that uses the Service to produce, edit, or optimize materials for clients.
  • Operating a recruiting, staffing, or outplacement business that uses the Service to evaluate, score, or rewrite candidate materials.
  • Allowing any individual other than the registered account holder to upload their resume, generate AI Content, or otherwise interact with the Service through your account.
  • Aggregating, reselling, or republishing outputs the Service produces for you (Bullseye tiers, keyword analyses, AI-written copy, etc.) as part of any product or service offered to others.

No competing-product development

  • Using the Service, its outputs, or its observable behavior to design, build, train, evaluate, benchmark, or improve any competing resume-scoring, resume-writing, ATS, or AI-career product.
  • Using outputs from the Service as training data, evaluation data, or prompt material for any third-party AI model, regardless of whether that model is publicly distributed.
  • Publishing reviews or comparisons that misrepresent the Service's behavior in order to advantage a competing product (legitimate consumer reviews of your own use are not restricted by this clause).

Use of the Service in violation of this Section 12 is a material breach of these Terms. We may terminate offending accounts immediately, demand return or destruction of derived materials, and pursue any other remedy available under these Terms or applicable law.

13. Service Management

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to take the following actions to manage and protect the Service:

  • Monitor the Service for violations of these Terms.
  • Restrict, limit, suspend, or disable access to accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
  • Remove or disable content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
  • Report suspected illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
  • Manage the Service in a manner designed to protect our rights, property, and the interests of our users.
  • Enforce rate limits, usage quotas, and other technical restrictions as needed to maintain service quality.

Part V: Content, IP & AI

14. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the MyJobsSearch platform, including but not limited to the software, design, user interface, algorithms, scoring methodologies, code, graphics, branding, and documentation, are owned exclusively by MyJobsSearch and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The "MyJobsSearch" name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of MyJobsSearch. You may not use, reproduce, or display these trademarks without our prior written consent.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service or its underlying technology. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in termination of your account and legal action.

15. AI-Generated Content

MyJobsSearch uses artificial intelligence to generate optimized resumes, cover letters, Bullseye tiers, keyword suggestions, and other outputs ("AI Content"). By using the AI features of the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • AI systems can produce errors, inaccuracies, hallucinations, or content that does not reflect your real experience or qualifications.
  • Bullseye tiers, keyword analyses, and optimization recommendations are estimates derived from algorithmic analysis. They do not represent, predict, or guarantee how any specific employer, recruiter, or applicant tracking system will evaluate your application.
  • AI Content is a starting draft. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing it before submitting any version to an employer.
  • You are solely responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, and lawfulness of anything you ultimately submit to employers, whether AI-generated, edited, or written from scratch.
  • We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, effectiveness, or suitability of AI Content for any specific job, role, or context.

AI vendor confidentiality: what you should know before sending us sensitive material

Generating AI Content requires us to send your inputs (including resume text, job-description text, achievements, and related context) to one or more third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI and similar large language model vendors). We do not control how those vendors handle your data internally. Although we contract with vendors that publicly state they do not train their public models on customer API inputs, we cannot guarantee, on the vendors' behalf, that:

  • your inputs will remain confidential at the vendor level;
  • the vendor will not log, cache, retain, or use your inputs for safety, abuse-monitoring, evaluation, or other internal purposes;
  • your inputs will not become accessible to the vendor's employees, sub-processors, contractors, government requests, legal process, or other third parties under the vendor's own policies;
  • portions of your inputs will not surface through future vendor features such as search, retrieval, indexing, or evaluation tooling that the vendor may build on top of historical data; or
  • a vendor's policies, security posture, or staff will remain unchanged over time.

For these reasons, you should not submit anything through MyJobsSearch that you would not be comfortable having processed by an outside AI vendor under that vendor's terms. Examples to avoid include trade secrets, your current employer's confidential or proprietary information, NDA-protected material, classified or export-controlled information, regulated personal data of others (HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, COPPA), or any material you would not want recorded in a vendor log.

By using the AI features of the Service, you accept this risk and waive any claim against MyJobsSearch arising from a third-party AI vendor's handling of your inputs that is consistent with that vendor's then-current published policies.

16. User-Generated Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or provide to MyJobsSearch, including your resumes, cover letters, achievements, work history, and other personal materials ("User Content"). We do not claim any ownership interest in your User Content.

By using the Service, you grant MyJobsSearch a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to process, display, store, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your content or your account is closed.

We may use anonymized, aggregated data derived from User Content for analytics, research, and service improvement purposes. Such aggregated data will not identify you personally and cannot be used to reconstruct your individual content.

17. Contribution License

If you provide any feedback, suggestions, feature requests, ideas, bug reports, or other contributions regarding MyJobsSearch ("Contributions"), you agree that such Contributions become the sole property of MyJobsSearch upon submission.

We may use, modify, incorporate, distribute, and commercialize any Contributions without restriction, compensation, attribution, or obligation to you. You waive any moral rights or claims you may have in such Contributions.

This section does not apply to your User Content (such as resumes and achievements), which remains governed by Section 16.

Part VI: Privacy & Data Handling

18. Privacy Policy

Your use of MyJobsSearch is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By creating an account and using MyJobsSearch, you consent to the data collection and processing practices described in our Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy carefully before using the Service.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy shall govern with respect to data privacy and protection matters.

19. User Data

You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of any data you provide to or create within MyJobsSearch. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we are not liable for any loss, corruption, or destruction of your data, whether caused by system failures, security incidents, or other circumstances.

Following account deletion or termination, your data will be retained for a period of 30 days. After this retention period, all data associated with your account will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems.

You may export your data at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@myjobssearch.com. We recommend periodically exporting your important data as a precautionary measure.

20. Third-Party Services

MyJobsSearch integrates with and relies on various third-party services to deliver its functionality, including:

  • Authentication providers: for secure user login and account management.
  • Job Board Provider: for job discovery and listing data. MyJobsSearch integrates with third-party job boards for job discovery. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
  • AI service providers: for content generation, analysis, and optimization.
  • Payment processors (Stripe): for secure billing and subscription management.
  • Cloud hosting providers: for infrastructure, storage, and service delivery.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, performance, or policies of any third-party service. Third-party services are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. Your use of MyJobsSearch constitutes acknowledgment that third-party service disruptions may temporarily affect the availability or functionality of our Service.

21. Electronic Communications

By creating a MyJobsSearch account, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including but not limited to email messages and in-app notifications. These communications may include service announcements, account notifications, billing confirmations, security alerts, and promotional materials.

You agree that electronic communications from MyJobsSearch satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be made in writing. Electronic records of communications shall be considered valid and enforceable to the same extent as paper-based communications.

You may opt out of marketing and promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in such emails or by adjusting your notification preferences in your account settings. However, you may not opt out of transactional or service-related communications (such as billing confirmations, security alerts, and Terms updates), as these are essential to your use of the Service.

Part VII: Legal Protections

22. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS, AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MyJobsSearch and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or arising from course of dealing or usage of trade, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, system integration, and non-infringement.

Without limiting the above, we do not warrant or represent that:

  • AI-generated content will be accurate, current, complete, or appropriate for any specific application or hiring context.
  • Bullseye tiers, keyword analyses, or optimization suggestions correspond to how any specific employer, recruiter, or applicant tracking system will evaluate your application.
  • Use of the Service will produce any particular employment outcome, including interviews, callbacks, offers, response rates, or salary improvements.
  • Job listings discovered through the Service are still open, accurately described by the source job board, or otherwise reliable.
  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against compromise, or available at any specific level of uptime.
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements, expectations, workflow, or use case.

23. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO CASE SHALL MYJOBSSEARCH OR ITS PERSONNEL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF MYJOBSSEARCH HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

This exclusion applies to, but is not limited to, damages arising from:

  • any handling, retention, logging, or disclosure of your inputs by third-party AI vendors, hosting providers, or other sub-processors;
  • your reliance on AI-generated content, Bullseye tiers, keyword recommendations, or any other algorithmic output;
  • adverse employment outcomes, missed interviews, lost callbacks, or rejected applications;
  • loss or corruption of resumes, achievements, application history, or other data you store with the Service;
  • lost revenue, lost profits, lost business opportunities, or lost goodwill;
  • personal injury, property damage, or emotional distress arising from your use of the Service.

Notwithstanding any other provision of these Terms, the total aggregate liability of MyJobsSearch and its personnel for all claims relating to these Terms or the Service is capped at the greater of (a) the amounts you actually paid to MyJobsSearch in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00).

24. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MyJobsSearch, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and licensors from and against any claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and expert costs) arising out of or relating to:

  • any misrepresentation, fabrication, or false credential you include in resumes, cover letters, applications, achievements, or other content you submit through the Service or to any employer;
  • any content you upload, generate, store, or transmit using the Service (including AI prompts, achievements, employment history, and any personal information of yourself or others);
  • a third party's claim that your content infringes its copyright, trademark, trade secret, publicity, privacy, or other rights;
  • your unauthorized use of the Service, including any conduct prohibited by Sections 5 (Responsible Use), 11 (Prohibited Technical Use), or 12 (Commercial Misuse);
  • your breach of any representation, warranty, or other obligation in these Terms or in any policy referenced in these Terms;
  • your access to or use of the Service generally, including liability arising from a third-party AI vendor's processing of inputs you submitted through the Service.

Where any third-party claim falls within the scope of your indemnification obligations under this Section 24, MyJobsSearch may, at our discretion and at your cost, take over the handling, defense, and resolution of that claim. If we exercise this option, you must promptly hand off control to counsel of our choosing, supply documents, records, and witness availability that we reasonably request, and refrain from making admissions, settlement offers, public statements, or other binding representations about the claim without our prior written approval.

This indemnification obligation shall survive termination of your account and these Terms.

25. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or related to them or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles or provisions.

To the extent that any legal proceeding is permitted under these Terms (subject to the arbitration provisions in Section 26), you consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Michigan and agree that such courts shall be the exclusive venue for any permitted legal proceedings.

26. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution. Before initiating any formal dispute resolution proceeding, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy informally by contacting us at legal@myjobssearch.com. You agree to allow at least 30 days for informal resolution before pursuing any other remedies.

Binding Arbitration. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may initiate binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Commercial Arbitration Rules and, where the dispute involves an individual consumer, the AAA's Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in the State of Michigan, or by phone, video, or written submission where the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules permit. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class Action Waiver. You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis only. You waive the right to participate in any class action, class-wide arbitration, consolidated action, or representative proceeding against MyJobsSearch.

Small Claims Exception. Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within that court's jurisdictional limits.

Arbitration Costs. Each party shall bear its own attorneys' fees and expenses in connection with any dispute resolution proceeding, unless the arbitrator determines that the circumstances warrant a different allocation of costs. If the arbitrator determines that the AAA filing or administrative fees that you would otherwise be required to pay are prohibitively expensive when compared to the costs of litigation, MyJobsSearch will pay any portion of those fees that exceeds what would be reasonable for an individual consumer.

Carve-Outs from Arbitration. Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, either party may bring an action in a court of competent jurisdiction to seek injunctive, declaratory, or other equitable relief for: (a) actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or unauthorized disclosure of intellectual property rights; (b) actual or threatened unauthorized access, scraping, automated harvesting, reverse engineering, or other misuse of the Service; or (c) any other claim where monetary damages alone would not provide an adequate remedy. Such claims need not first proceed through informal resolution or arbitration, and seeking such relief shall not waive any right to arbitrate other claims.

Time Limit on Claims. Any claim, dispute, or cause of action arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service must be filed within one (1) year after the cause of action arose, regardless of any longer period otherwise allowed by statute. Claims not brought within this one-year window are permanently barred, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Part VIII: Lifecycle & Changes

27. Term and Termination

These Terms remain in full force and effect for as long as you maintain an account with or continue to use MyJobsSearch. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

Upon termination of your account, your right to access and use the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be retained for 30 days following termination, after which it will be permanently deleted. During the 30-day retention period, you may contact us to request an export of your data.

The following provisions shall survive termination of these Terms: Intellectual Property Rights (Section 14), Disclaimer of Warranties (Section 22), Limitation of Liability (Section 23), Indemnification (Section 24), Governing Law (Section 25), Dispute Resolution (Section 26), and any other provisions that by their nature should survive termination.

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription (if applicable) and deleting your account through your account settings, or by contacting us at support@myjobssearch.com.

28. Modifications and Interruptions

We reserve the right to modify, update, redesign, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time and without prior notice. This includes changes to features, functionality, user interface, algorithms, and available integrations.

We are not liable for any downtime, service interruptions, maintenance windows, or outages, whether planned or unplanned. We do not guarantee that the Service will be continuously available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

While we strive to maintain consistent uptime, factors beyond our control, including third-party service outages, network failures, and force majeure events, may result in temporary unavailability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance when possible.

29. Changes to Terms

We may update, revise, or modify these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. The updated date serves as your notice that changes have been made.

Your continued use of MyJobsSearch after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and close your account.

For material changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or in-app notification at least 15 days before the changes take effect. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

Part IX: General

30. Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and MyJobsSearch regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

No Waiver. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by MyJobsSearch to be effective.

Assignment. We may assign, transfer, or delegate our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction or notice. You may not assign, transfer, or delegate your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

Force Majeure. MyJobsSearch shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war or terrorism, pandemics, government actions, power outages, internet or telecommunications failures, or third-party service disruptions.

California Residents. Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users are entitled to the following consumer rights notice. If you have a complaint or question regarding the Service, you may contact us at legal@myjobssearch.com. California residents may also reach the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 N. Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
