MyJobsSearch is an AI-powered job search and resume optimization platform. It helps you score your resume against job descriptions, optimize your resume with AI, generate tailored cover letters, discover jobs from the most popular job board, track applications, and manage your career achievements, all in one place.
How does MyJobsSearch work?
You create a profile with your work history, education, and achievements. Then you can paste job descriptions to score your resume against them, use AI to optimize your resume for specific jobs, discover jobs by providing job board search URLs, and track your applications from apply to offer.
Is MyJobsSearch an ATS (Applicant Tracking System)?
No. MyJobsSearch is a tool that helps you optimize your resume to perform better when employers use ATS software. We analyze your resume against job descriptions and suggest improvements to increase your match rate.
What AI does MyJobsSearch use?
We use leading AI models to power our resume optimization, cover letter generation, and scoring features. Our AI analyzes job descriptions and your resume content to provide personalized suggestions. All AI-generated content should be reviewed and edited by you before submitting to employers.
Pricing & Billing
What plans are available?
We offer three plans: Free ($0/month with limited features), Pro ($14/month), and Premium ($24/month). The free tier requires no credit card and lets you explore the platform's core features.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover through our secure payment processor, Stripe. All payment information is handled securely and we never store your full card details.
How does billing work?
Paid plans are billed monthly on the anniversary of your subscription start date. You can view your billing history and manage your subscription in your account settings.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time through your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Is the free tier really free?
Yes. The free tier is always available with no credit card required. It includes limited access to core features so you can try the platform before committing to a paid plan.
Cancellation & Refunds
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. It's completely self-service. No need to contact support or jump through hoops.
When does cancellation take effect?
Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You'll retain full access to your paid features until then.
Can I get a refund?
We do not offer partial refunds for unused subscription time. If you believe there is a billing error, contact support@myjobssearch.com within 30 days of the charge and we'll investigate.
What happens to my data after I cancel?
Your data is retained for 30 days after your subscription ends. During this window, you can reactivate your account and pick up where you left off. After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted.
Can I reactivate my account after cancelling?
Yes. If you reactivate within 30 days of cancellation, all your data (resumes, jobs, achievements, applications) will still be available. After 30 days, you'll need to start fresh with a new account.
Account & Data
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account through your account settings or by contacting support@myjobssearch.com. Account deletion is permanent after the 30-day retention period.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Contact support@myjobssearch.com to request a data export. We'll provide your data in a structured format within 30 days.
How is my data secured?
All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption. Sensitive information like API keys is encrypted at rest. Your data is isolated from other users at the database level. We never store your login passwords directly. They're managed by our authentication provider.
Do you share my data with third parties?
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (authentication, payments, AI processing, hosting, job discovery). We do not sell your data or share it for advertising purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Technical
What browsers are supported?
MyJobsSearch works best on modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend keeping your browser up to date for the best experience.
Do I need to install anything?
No. MyJobsSearch is a web application that runs entirely in your browser. There's nothing to download or install.
How does the self-scoring engine work?
Our scoring engine evaluates your resume against job descriptions across four weighted categories: title match, skills alignment, seniority level, and location fit. You can customize the weights and criteria in your Job Preferences to match your specific job search goals. Industry and target company bonuses can also boost your scores.
